Dan Souza from America's Assess Kitchen
R58 I get the vibe from them both, too, but Bridget is married to a MAYUN, another chef.
For some reason, I wouldn't be surprised if the whole America's Test Kitchen herd were rather conservative and homophobic.
The ultra-nerdy former CEO guy was really arrogant in a scrawny straight-guy compassionate of way. He came across to me as the type who could be a raging homophobe. And just this morning, I saw an episode about Chinese takeout meal in which he said actual Chinese takeout is unpalatable and, along with another middle-aged white guy, he showed "how to do Chinese takeout right." I am progressive but not the quickest to ring the 'woke police' alarm, but it sure felt weird to survey some dumpy old alabaster dad dedicate an episode to an ethnic cuisine, slam that cuisine wholesale, and then assert that he knows how to fix it.
