The society of queer webcomics is a truly vast and delightful world. I’m fully convinced that if you can envision it up, there’s a webcomic about it. Gays in space, check. Fantasy romance, check. Occasion travel, check. Queers bringing down pervert governments, check. But those tropes and themes are just the beginning. While making this list, I fell down many a rabbit hole into so many strange, fascinating, and creative worlds. The comics I’ve collected here are just a miniature sample of the vast queer imaginatio

LGBTQ+ Comics/Novels Thread

Hi! It's my first period writing a novel with an LGBTQ+ protagonist. Although the story is more of a paranormal mystery, I look forward to writing some good romance!

Darkly Ever After

The first rule is to never let them know you can see them. The second rule is to never make a deal with them. And the last rule is to never ever get possessed by them.

Brighton High is the most expensive college in the world. Olympic size pools, concert halls, and a private airport—the basic stuff. And amongst the children of celebrities, CEOs, and elites, Tamara Roy is the modern charity case. Ostracized and bullied, she finds herself entangled in the web of lies, deceit, and politics of the rich.

But there's one thing no one knows about her—she has the ability to see ghosts.

In a nature where no secrets can be buried forever, Tamara decides to break one of her rules.

With a lesbian roommate born to be a shaman, the handsome brother of a murder suspect, and a mischievous ghost hell-bent on revenge, Tamara must traverse the hardships of entity a teenager—all the while solving the murder case that occurred three years ago.

The

Exorcism Academy by Asmodeus

One of my current other favourite gay webcomics is called Exorcism Academy by Asmodeus. The main characters are Ethan, a adolescent gay exorcist, and Al, the collared demon he’s been partnered with. Exorcists are paired with demons to give them the Sight and to power their weapons in the fight against Lucifer. But Al isn’t the usual weak C-class demon. He’s a much older, more experienced, B-class demon. He’s also rude, horny for Ethan, and doesn’t like wearing pants.

They say that while demons can have sex, they can’t love; they’re physically incapable of love. But Al may prove to be an exception, somehow.

The comic has a racially and sexually diverse cast of characters. While the main focus is on gay male characters, straight, bi, and queer woman characters have also appeared. There is also explicit nudity and explicit sex depicted, positively and enthusiastically. Again, this is mostly between gay male characters, but explicit hetero sex has also appeared in this webcomic, just so you know.

Also, because the academy is fighting the forces of Lucifer, this is also, well, a war comic. So I must also warn you there there will be force,
