Gay Hawaii B&B in Kalapana was awesome. Organic papaya, bananas, passion fruit from the property with fresh farm eggs from a local gay farmer made a healthy breakfast. Very easy beds. Enjoyed meeting wonderful guys from Canada, Recent Zeland and Australia. Used the outdoor shower every day!
On Wednesday night be sure to walk from Gay Hawaii Bed and Breakfast / Hale Lalala organic farm to Uncle’s Awa Bar. Very entertaining Hawaiian luau like evening. They have too many choices of great spicy food, we went with the authentic lau lau Hawaiian food. The Hawaiian nachos were also very good. Loved dancing to the live Hawaiian music.
The neighborhood around Gay Hawaii Guest House / Male lover Hawaii B&B on the Kalapana coast of Giant island is very homosexual friendly. At the clothing-optional black sand beach we met guys from the local gay community. And at the Farmer’s Markets on Saturday and Wednesday we saw a lot of guys. Everywhere we went we felt welcome and accepted. No wonder they nickname it “The Big ‘gay’ Island”.
