Longtime ‘Live With Kelly And Mark’ Exec Art Moore Announces Retirement

Art Moore, WABC-TV New York vice president of programming and longtime executive-in-charge of production ofLive with Kelly and Mark and its prior iterations, will retire in September.

The news was announced by Marilu Galvez, President & General Manager, WABC-TV.

“To say that Art is a much-loved member of the WABC family is just barely scratching the surface of his impact on my leadership team, the station and the industry overall,” Galvez said in a memo to staff. “Art has been part of our ABC family for a remarkable 53 years, beginning at WKBW-TV in Buffalo when ABC was known as Capital Cities/ABC. Galvez added, “Art has been with Live… almost since its inception 36 years ago, making an indelible mark on not just the show but the daytime television landscape overall and winning the hearts of viewers nationwide along the way.”

The publisher cancels the novel.

Why? Because the publisher is Cedar Fort, a Utah apply pressure that sells primarily to Mormons–and they’re freaked out about alienating Deseret Publication, a church-run bookstore in Utah that’s a prime place for books to be sold.

Um . . .

Yeah. How is this not grounds for a huge lawsuit? How is it possible that a publisher does something enjoy this? The book wasn’t promoting homosexuality. It’s a YA fantasy, for crying out loud. One of the authors is lgbtq+. So what? To withdraw from a
